Ever since I can remember, I was one of those kids that loved to draw and paint for the pleasure of it and it has continued right up until today. I am in my mid 40’s now and still have as much love for drawing as I did when I was a small boy doodling smiley faces in elementary school. Thanks to my loving wife, I have always been encouraged to continue my passion through our almost 25 years together. She has been the major driving force for the development of this website and I don’t know what I would have done without her in my life.
I have been drawing and painting in some form or another since I could hold a pencil. As I grew older I began to earn a living doing lots of different things, which paid the bills, and eventually I have settled into working behind a desk for the better part of the last 11 years. Before the desk job I worked outside in the construction industry, but it became more and more difficult to endure the harsh winters and the hot days of summer in upstate NY. So now, I am a desk jockey by day and an artist by night and weekends.
I have painted many things for people in almost every conceivable medium I could get my hands on. I grew up in Rochester, NY, moving to San Diego, CA after high school. I spent almost four years in California, living the life of a beach bum selling small sculptures I created in Balboa Park to pass the time. Back in Rochester in my late 20’s, I worked almost exclusively with an airbrush, painting everything from motocross helmets to Harley-Davidsons, and everything in between. I’ve shown my work everywhere from art shows to motorcycle rallies. I developed a large client base in Rochester, but then spent a couple of years moving around for career opportunities, finally settling in Delaware.
I’ve started to spend time diving into new mediums and techniques such as watercolor and acrylics. As you can see by taking a look at my gallery page, I’m a diverse artist. I’ve done everything from portraits to abstracts in a wide variety of mediums. I’m really enjoying working in pencil and pen right now, and love the challenge of mixing mediums to create new looks.
Thanks for stopping by my website – I’ll look forward to working with you.
